Romantic Everette Manor Wedding

Justin and I were not only  privileged to work with an AWESOME couple, we also had an amazing team!! This was our first time working with Jen Purdom, Lead-Cordinator and Bridal Consultant for From The Gown Up! (amongst other fantastic vendors!) She carried the day beautifully and made our job so fantastically enjoyable! I would highly recommend her!

Here’s just a little bit from Buck and Abbie’s wedding, written by Jen herself!

“To put Buck and Abbie’s wedding into three words it would be Simple. Fun. Love. The day was simple in the sense of there was no need to fuss, everything was as it should be and beautiful. Fun is something that the bride and groom love to have together and exude from their core. Both of them have contagious laughter and a playfulness that leaves everyone wanting to hang around for more.  Love is what the day was all about. The love between the bride and groom was so apparent you could see it in their eyes and on their faces. During pictures you could feel the love that their bridal party had for them as they posed and played around on the beach in Mukilteo, WA. At the reception you knew that everyone there loved Buck & Abbie. The bonds in friendship and family were strong and beautiful. From the beginning both the bride and groom were very involved in the wedding planning process and had several DIY elements to the wedding. To start, Buck designed and had Abbie’s ring made just for her, just as he knew she would love it. He also designed a banner that was hung from a local bridge to propose to her as they floated the river at sunset and the fishermen on the banks cheered for them as she said yes. This was all a wonderful start to a beautiful wedding day to come. Buck and Abbie designed and screen printed their own invitations in true B & A style that included a picture of their smiling faces. Abbie was often inspired by postings on Pinterest and made her own table overlays and runners from blue and white chevron fabric.  In the center of each table was a palm plant and candles adding a simple, natural, elegant aspect to the day. The wood slab guestbook was also an inspiration and was hand sanded by Buck. The H monogram was a tedious detail of wood burning that took some time but was the perfect finishing touch. Close friends also played a role in the DIY projects and made the wedding programs, banners, boutineers and even the grooms ring.

All in all the day was simply beautiful. The bride was stunning in her gown, the groom dapper in his bow tie, the sun shining and love was all around.  What more could you ask for?”

She could not have summed it up more perfectly!

Be sure to check out From the Gown Up, as well as Pacific Metal Arts, who designed those amazing boutonnieres!!!
